Bros Mind Studio

The MINGARRO BROTHERS, Juan (1978) and Alejandro (1981) were born in Huesca, Spain. As childs, they were already a creative couple and spent their time drawing comics, building vehicles for their toys and making home movies with a domestic camcorder. In 1996, Juan, following the family tradicion, graduated in Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona. At the same time he studied for two years at Joso Comic School.

Alexandros Vasmoulakis

The revolution begins from within. Deviating Greece’s political inanity Alexandros Vasmoulakis introduces his individuals, as he refers to his figures, in a massive, dark and white, melting party.

‘Individual means indivisible’, says Vasmoulakis, ‘any singular thing, the basic unit, subject or object, the one who suffers or the one who hurts, a bachelor or the couple among strangers, any specific object in a collection’. Yet individuals interweave in front of Vasmoulakis’s eyes in an unforeseen way.

Ben Tour e seu the Tour Show

Canadian-born artist Ben Tour (b. 1977) channels a dark, often haunting sense of humanism in his work. His observations deftly inform his paintings, enabling him to capture the essence of a character, and then distort that view any way he desires. Frenetic lines, swaths of color, and intimate angles all convey a sense that Tour may not only be drawing inspiration from the lives of strangers he observes, but manifesting his own personal experiences as well. Ben Tour lives on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia with his Wife and two children.
