Os posters acima fazem parte de uma série criada pela agência Jung Von Matt para a Filarmônica de Hamburgo, na Alemanha. A beleza do trabalho chamou muito minha atenção. O movimento, o minimalismo, o estilo moderno; todo o material desenvolvido é digno de ser exposto em galerias de arte. Eu virei fã.
Siggi Eggertsson
My name is Siggi Eggertsson. I was born in Akureyri, Iceland, in 1984. In my childhood, drawing and computers were my biggest hobbies. I found out that I could combine those two into a profession called graphic design. When I was 18 I moved to Reykjavik and started studying graphic design at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. During my studies I spent a summer in New York, doing an internship with KarlssonWilker. I also took a semester off in 2005 to study at Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. While studying, Print Magazine selected me for their New Visual Artists, as one of 20 brightest design stars under the age of 30. My focus kind of shifted while I was in school, I realized that my interest in general graphic design was fading, and I was getting more and more into illustration and typography. I graduated from school in 2006.

Kiosk is a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by former Designers Republic senior designer, David Bailey. We’re based in Sheffield UK and work with like-minded collaborators remotely worldwide.

GODMACHINE
Já postei o trabalho do GODMACHINE antes (pristina.org/2008/07/15/godmachine) mas o estilo dele não era tão elaborado como hoje. O mais interessante é ver sua evolução de 2008 até hoje. Gostei bastante e fiquei com vontade de ter a grande maioria das camisetas que ele fez. Me lembrou uma mistura das ilustrações de posters de bandas de metal de hoje com aqueles adesivos de skate dos anos 80.
